This beautiful brooch is made of solid 925 sterling silver. With luxurious locking backs made from strong base-material.
It is handmade in Nuenen a small town in the Netherlands where Vincent van Gogh painted a quarter of his oeuvre.
The diameter of the brooch is 22mm and is no less than 1mm thick.

ABOUT OLD CHURCH NUENEN 1884
The painting was made in January or February 1884, showing Van Gogh’s father’s small church, with hedge and bare trees. Van Gogh made the painting for his mother, while she was confined to her house with a broken leg.
“My mother is in a good mood despite her leg fracture, she really enjoys the little things. Therefore I painted her the little church”.
